In Adamstown, Antiques Capital U.S.A., the dealing begins before the sun even starts to shine. Hungry antiques seekers peruse treasures of the past before they’re even off the dealers’ trucks.

These springtime sales are a must-see and start just after dawn. You’ll want to be first in line to bid on everything from antiques to quilts. This is a great place to mingle with the locals. But don’t forget your boots – these outdoor auctions are named for the condition of the thawing farm fields in the spring.
